Soul Puppets is an alt-rock band based in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Co-founded in late 2025 by local musicians Chris Musial and Wade Keith, the band spent two years honing their vision of blending the acoustic stylings of their singer-songwriter front man with nostalgic influences from soul, Motown, funk, alt rock, blues, and grunge. That sweet jelly only solidified further when they expanded to include Gabe Reilly on drums. Add local legend Lance Ruby on electric guitar, and Alternative Soul/Acoustic Funk Blues Rock was born.

Since their debut live performance at FoCoMX 2026, Soul Puppets have been tearing up the Fort Collins music scene—filling patios, booking events and concert series, and laying the groundwork for a bright musical future in Fort Collins, with a full studio album set to release in Spring 2027.
